Identification result

“Jadeite (Type A) pendant” is the laboratory’s conclusion for the tested item. In Chinese trade terminology, Type A means jadeite without the resin impregnation or dyeing associated with Type B or C treatment.

Measured properties

Weight, density, refractive index, absorption spectrum and microscopic structure provide technical points of comparison. The fields included can vary by report.

Laboratory qualification

A valid CMA mark on a Chinese report indicates inspection and testing qualification within the laboratory’s approved scope. The laboratory identity and certificate record should still be checked.

  1. Open the issuing laboratory’s official website printed on the report.
  2. Enter the unique certificate number, or scan the report’s QR code when provided.
  3. Match the photograph, item type, weight, measurements and identification result.
  4. Ask us to show the same piece and its report together during a live video viewing.

Established in 1991, Thrive Jade is the international name of 兴盛玉器行, our physical jade shop in Dali, Yunnan. The storefront, counters and collections shown here are our actual shop.

Our role is to curate — not to claim every stone comes from Dali. We bring together selected pieces, transparent documentation and personal guidance from our store to clients abroad.

Our Dali store is where pieces can be viewed in person, compared under different light and discussed without rushing. For clients abroad, our private video appointments are designed to recreate that careful experience.

BANGLE SIZE GUIDE

The right fit is part of the piece.

Jadeite bangles are rigid, so even one or two millimeters can change the fit. We confirm the size before every sale.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Before you choose.

Does every piece come with a certificate?

Certificate availability is confirmed on each product page. The issuing laboratory and report number are shared before purchase.

How is a Chinese certificate used in the United States?

A verifiable laboratory report can support identification and traceability, but it is not automatically a U.S. appraisal or retail valuation. Additional independent U.S. testing can be requested for a high-value purchase.

Is the color edited?

Product color is shown across multiple lighting conditions. Because screens vary, a live video viewing is recommended for higher-value pieces.

Can I order internationally?

International sales, shipping and returns are being prepared. This website is currently a collection preview rather than an active checkout.
